A visit to the Old Melbourne Gaol

Not a lot to write about as it was more of a contemplative activity. It was fascinating reading the placards of history and information on the displays and sites. Otherwise it was a bit surreal walking through the same halls and being in the same space that others have been in from a long time ago.

The dark hallways made for some interesting lighting challenge. I thought I would go with convenience and brought the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 with me. It was indeed helpful to have the option of the wide end, but the f/2.8 aperture did push the ISO up more quickly.

But anyway, it was quite the change of pace to the other Melbourne activities I got up to!
