Queen Victoria Market

The day after I checked out the Summer Night Market, I went to have a look at the Queen Victoria Market activities during a usual operating day. Probably one of the first things to notice is all the colour from the different produce and items on display.

Walking through the open stalls, I crossed over to an indoor area where the wet market is housed. Such a shame I was flying out the following day; I couldn’t buy some tasty looking food to cook and eat in time!

In another indoor area was more of a ‘dry goods’ section. Again, with it being pre-Christmas, most stalls had some festive lighting.

Afterwards I went through the shed where the Summer Night Market was. Some of the same decorations were still there. But now the usual daytime stalls have set their displays up again.

I skipped over checking out the Queen Victoria Market in the previous times I visited Melbourne, so it’s been good to finally check the place out!
