Chillin’ at a Cat Cafe

One morning I decided to go for breakfast at the Brick Lane Café. I noticed there was a cat café next door (which I don’t know how long it has been there for). I’ve always heard of people going to them, though I don’t really know what they’re about. So I thought why not pay a visit?

I booked a time slot for the afternoon. There was quite the queue when I got there - obviously this was a really popular thing! We got ticked off the list as we went in, and soon after they closed all the doors to make sure the cats don’t get out while we headed in.

The place was split in two levels. Upstairs was fairly lit but mostly through natural lighting. The day was somewhat overcast so at least it made for a more even lighting situation inside.

Downstairs was even darker as it basically had no windows. The X100V was pushing up to 12800 ISO so there was a bit of processing to be done. But at least the photos came out ok considering the lighting (or lack thereof).

The hour went by pretty quickly; definitely something I would recommend if you like cats!
